Digital procurement

Together with our suppliers, we are working to digitalise the BKW Group’s procurement processes. 

We are digitalising BKW’s procurement operations. Since mid-October 2020 we’ve been using the Ariba Network cloud-based procurement system. Ariba Network allows us to automate the ordering process (procure to pay) and make it paperless. Since July 2021, we’ve also been using Ariba Network strategically to purchase new products and services, and to improve the quality of our collaborative relationships with suppliers (source to contract & supplier management).

  • An automatic reminder is sent if uploaded certificates expire.
  • Tender statuses can be viewed at any time.
  • Tenders are handled digitally and tender documents are uploaded electronically.
